Abstinence Educ.

As part of our regular peer counseling program, we also offer education about abstinence, and God’s plan for sex within the bounds of marriage. As part of our mission for abstinence education, we visit youth groups and speak at area youth events.

Sexual Integrity Counseling

Given the casual standards for sex presented by the media and targeted at our youth, it is no wonder that teens are finding it increasingly difficult to abstain from sex. That’s why we offer Sexual Integrity Counseling as part of our regular client services program. Through written materials, videos and one-on-one counseling, we encourage our clients to choose a path of sexual integrity – even if they have already been sexually active. We become their Accountability Partners.

Some of the concepts we share include:

healthy decision-making

information about STDs

information on the risks of sexual activity outside of marriage, including emotional, physical and spiritual damage

making a commitment to sexual integrity, through a relationship with Jesus Christ

choosing dating situations carefully, such as, always go out in a group, no skin-to-skin contact, etc.

being accountable

setting goals for sexual purity, and then working towards those goals with an accountability partner (such as Care Net Pregnancy Resource Centers)

sexual purity as a positive option, with no fear of STDs or unplanned pregnancies
